New Director of Sales and Business Development at POL-EKO®

We are pleased to share news from within our organization. In connection with recent changes in the ownership structure, we are also seeing transformations within the leadership team. As of May 2025, Adam Szafarczyk, has officially taken on the role of Director of Sales and Business Development at POL-EKO®.

In addition to managing the operations of the newly established POL-EKO SERWIS, Adam now oversees the Sales, Marketing, and Service Departments of the parent company POL-EKO®. His leadership marks a new chapter in the company’s commercial and service development.

Extensive experience and a strong industry background

Adam is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice and holds an Executive MBA from Akademia WSB. He began his professional journey at POL-EKO-APARATURA in the late 1990s, managing sales and marketing for laboratory equipment and devices in the water and wastewater sector.

In 2003, he joined Philips, where for 20 years he was responsible for wholesale sales in Poland and managing product categories across Central and Eastern Europe. He particularly values the experience gained through LEAN implementation and the transition from conventional lighting to digital LED technologies.

Return to POL-EKO® and leadership in service and sales

Since September 2024, Adam has returned to POL-EKO®, initially focusing on developing service operations and building the foundation for POL-EKO SERWIS. In May 2025, he assumed a broader role as Director of the Customer Service Division, bringing strategic leadership and a focus on results-driven change.

He is known for his focus on people, open communication, and commitment to implementing changes that deliver measurable impact. His current goals include enhancing cooperation with distribution partners, improving internal processes, and supporting both commercial and service teams.

Custom-made laboratory solutions with growing potential

Thanks to his network of industry contacts, Adam quickly recognized the significant market potential in custom devices– one of POL-EKO®’s unique strengths. Under his leadership, this segment has started to grow, gaining recognition among research institutions and industrial clients.

A passion for adventure and exploration

Outside of work, Adam is an avid traveler, passionate about mountain hiking, a winter skiing enthusiast, and a dedicated sailor during the summer months.
