POL-EKO® strengthens its commitment to climate action

POL-EKO® continues to expand its activities in the area of sustainability and responsible manufacturing. We are proud to announce that the company has achieved the GHG Scope 1 & 2 Footprint and GHG Scope 3 Footprint badges as part of our participation in the international program Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (Supplier LOCT).

Confirmation of tangible progress in emissions reduction

These achievements confirm POL-EKO®’s measurable progress in measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions — both within direct operations (Scope 1 and 2) and across the entire value chain (Scope 3).

All activities are carried out in line with globally recognized standards, including the GHG Protocol and the guidelines of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

What is Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition?

Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (Supplier LOCT) is an international educational platform and collaborative initiative bringing together companies and their suppliers to accelerate action toward reducing CO2 emissions in supply chains.

The program supports participants in developing greenhouse gas footprints, setting reduction targets, and implementing measures to mitigate climate impact.

What the achieved badges mean for POL-EKO®

Achieving the GHG Scope 1 & 2 Footprint and GHG Scope 3 Footprint badges means that POL-EKO® has:

  • developed a comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions footprint,
  • increased transparency in climate reporting,
  • demonstrated readiness for further measurable emission reduction actions across the value chain.

Responsible manufacturing and climate transparency

At POL-EKO®, we believe that responsible manufacturing, reliable data, and transparent climate reporting are essential to building a more sustainable future.

Participation in the Supplier LOCT program and the badges achieved represent an important step in the implementation of our long-term environmental and ESG strategy.

We would like to thank all teams and partners involved in this process — it is a collective effort that contributes to meaningful climate action
