peltier-cooled incubator

The ILW incubators come with a compressor based cooling system, while the ILP feature Peltier modules (aka cells) which are electric devices to use the Peltier effect for heating and cooling.

The main advantage of a Peltier-cooled incubator is quiet operation to ensure a comfy use in the laboratory, no vibrations (Peltier cells eliminate vibrations generated by compressor), perfect temperature stability and uniformity and rapid temperature recovery after door opening. The weight and external dimensions of the ILP incubators are also smaller. Additionally, they are more environmentally friendly as refrigerants have been eliminated due to the use of Peltier modules.

sterilizers

The SR sterilizers can work at temperatures from ambient +5 up to +250°C and, in comparison to the SL drying ovens, they are equipped with more accessories as standard for sample protection: 3 factory pre-set sterilizing programs, automatic door locking and air-flap closing mechanisms while the program is running.

It can be used for hot air sterilization of face masks, documents, glass and samples, as well as for glassware drying.

The SRWP sterilizer comes with both front and rear door. It's perfect for drying painted elements, and for drying/sterilizing of samples between the dirty and clean zones.

Laboratory refrigerators

CHL laboratory refrigerators have an integrated data record for 10,000 data (temperature, date and time). The data can be saved with the previously set interval and, if necessary, downloaded on a USB flash drive. Data from a USB flash drive can be transferred to a computer, where it can be processed, printed in the form of statistics or detailed report and archived using Lab Desk software.

Compared to domestic refrigerators, the laboratory refrigerator has an advanced temperature controller that allows you to maintain the set temperature with a fluctuation of +/- 0.5°C. Temperature maintenance in laboratory refrigerators is a priority, therefore the compressor is switched on when necessary: sometimes more often, sometimes less often. In domestic refrigerators the compressor turns on with a constant interval, regardless of the temperature in the chamber. CHL laboratory refrigerators are specialized equipment used, among others, in accredited laboratories for temperature-sensitive samples storage.

The CHL laboratory refrigerator is a specialized equipment for temperature-sensitive samples storage. It has a cooling system, so samples can be stored at a temperature below ambient temperature. Such a storage guarantees that the sample remains physically and chemically stable. Laboratory refrigerators are available with an advanced Smart or Smart PRO controllers which maintain the set temperature with good fluctuation and variation.

CHL laboratory refrigerators manufactured by POL-EKO have capacities from 70 l to 1540 l.

CHL laboratory refrigerators, like all POL-EKO thermostatic equipment, have a key lock as standard. In addition, larger models can be equipped with a magnetic lock, which is controlled by RFID card reader which enables quick access to the samples inside the chamber. Only authorized persons have access to the card.

For safety reasons, one refrigerator can't be stacked on top of another. A safe alternative is to buy a 2-chamber refrigerator. In such a case each chamber is independently controlled, so you can set a different incubation / storage temperature in each chamber. Different chamber combinations are available: refrigerator / refrigerator, refrigerator / thermostatic cabinet (e.g. BOD incubation at +20°C in the thermostatic cabinet and sample storage at +4°C in the refrigerator), refrigerator / freezer , thermostatic cabinet / freezer. A 3-chamber version is also available for the smallest model, i.e.CHL 1. An additional advantage is the saving of space in the laboratory.

Whether we buy a single-chamber or two-chamber refrigerator depends primarily on how much space there is in the laboratory. If we don't have enough, buying a two-chamber equipment is the optimal solution. Each of the chambers is independently controlled, so you can set a different storage / incubation temperatures.

Laboratory refrigerators have a big (4.3" in Smart or 7" in Smart PRO), legible and color touch screen, on which the temperature value is visible from every angle and regardless of the light intensity in the room. Operating the controller is as simple as operating a smartphone - very intuitive. In addition, the display can be operated with latex gloves.

The laboratory refrigerator, like every POL-EKO thermostatic equipment, has an orifice in the side wall to insert an external temperature / humidity or another sensor. In laboratory refrigerators, the orifice has a diameter of 30 mm and is closed with a rubber cap. If necessary, an additional access port of 20 mm, 60 mm or 100 mm diameter can be ordered.

Thermostatic cabinets / cooled incubators (ST)

A thermostatic cabinet is a thermostatic equipment designed for samples storage at certain temperature. Thermostatic cabinets have heating and cooling system, so samples can be stored / incubated below or above ambient temperature.

The thermostatic cabinet allows you to set the temperature in the range from + 3°C to + 40°C with the possibility of extension to + 70°C. The thermostatic cabinet has a heating and cooling system, so the samples can be stored / incubated below or above ambient temperature.

The thermostatic cabinet can act as an incubator for incubation of microbiological samples, especially at temperatures below ambient temperature. For incubation of microbiological samples, a thermostatic cabinet with stainless steel interior is recommended, which is easy to clean and disinfect.

In thermostatic cabinet , the interior of the chamber can be made of: aluminum (orange peel), 0H17 stainless steel (SLR) or 0H18 acid-proof stainless steel.

Aluminum, unlike stainless steel, has an orange peel structure, so it is not completely smooth. This type of solution works well for the storage / incubation of samples for physicochemical analyzes or samples that do not affect the surface of the chamber.

The thermostatic cabinet allows you to set the temperature in the range from + 3°C to +40°C (option up to 70°C), so they can also be treated as laboratory refrigerators.

The thermostatic cabinet is, among others, intended for incubation of samples in case of BOD determination - allows incubation at + 20°C +/- 1°C. If the BOD determination is carried out using the respirometric method, e.g. using OxiTop sets, the cabinet can be optionally equipped with an internal power socket needed to connect the BOD stirrer platform. The ST BD thermostatic cabinets, which have built-in power sockets as standard, are specially dedicated to respirometric devices.

The thermostatic cabinet is an equipment that allows incubation of samples, storage of: samples, reagents, standards, etc., at a specified temperature in the range from + 3°C to + 70°C. The thermostatic cabinet has a heating and cooling system, so the samples can be stored at a temperature below ambient temperature. They can also be used for stability tests with high temperature accuracy. It is also frequently used for the storage of vaccines and medicines in refrigerated conditions and medicines in the range from + 18°C to + 20°C (in places where there is no air condition and in summer the air temperature is much higher than the ambient temperature recommended for storing some medicines).

Thermostatic cabinet are available in 3-chamber (model ST 1/1/1) and 2-chamber (models ST 1/1, ST 2/2, ST 2/3) versions, where each of the chambers is controlled independently. This solution saves space in the laboratory and allows testing at two different temperatures. Multi-chamber devices may appear in so-called mixed versions, e.g. thermostatic cabinet and laboratory refrigerator or thermostatic cabinet and freezer, in which each chamber is controlled independently.

In thermostatic cabinet, as in all devices manufactured by POL-EKO-APARARURA (except for ultra-low freezers), there are wire or perforated shelves ensuring free air flow in the chamber. This guarantees that the set temperature is maintained with good fluctuation and variation. Full shelves are not installed in thermostatic devices, because they disturb the air circulation in the chamber, which negatively affects its operation parameters.

All thermostatic cabinets have forced air convection - a fan is built in the chamber, which mixes the air and ensures very good fluctuation and variation of temperature. In order to not disturb the air circulation in the chamber, we do not use full shelves in thermostatic equipment, only wire or perforated ones.

A thermostatic cabinet is a thermostatic equipment designed for storing samples at a certain temperature. Thermostatic cabinets have heating and cooling system, so samples can be stored / incubated above or below ambient temperature. The type of incubated sample has an impact on the material from which the inside of the thermostatic cabinet is made, e.g. for incubation of microbiological samples, the interior is made of smooth 0H17 or 0H18 steel, for storage of reagents 0H18 acid-proof stainless steel is recommended, while for storage of environmental samples an interior made of aluminum is sufficient .

Thermostatic cabinets, like all POL-EKO devices, have a standard port that allows placing a temperature / humidity sensor in the chamber for independent monitoring of equipment's operating parameters.

Laboratory freezers

A laboratory freezer is a device used to store frozen samples. The range of sizes starts ZLN 85 model, small laboratory freezer, through the ZLN-T 200 model up to the big one - ZLN-T 300. We also offer mixed multi-chamber devices. Freezers are equipped with shelves with adjustable height. This solution is often called a vertical laboratory freezer. There are also drawer or chest freezers.

Taking care of the quality of our products, in our offer you will not find a two-function device called "laboratory fridge-freezer". Our refrigerators do not have an integrated freezer inside like home appliances. Our fridge-freezers are two-chamber devices - one chamber is a refrigerator, the other is a freezer. Bearing in mind the concern for device parameters and their functionality, we have created few product categories: laboratory refrigerators, laboratory freezers and ultra-low freezers. Laboratory refrigerators are equipped with a cooling system - they keep the temperature lower than the ambient temperature, however their temperature range doesn't reach negative values. Usually it is 0-10 or 0-15°C. In the case of our laboratory freezers, the temperature inside the chamber may reach -25/-40°C. The temperature goes even lower in ultra-low freezers - up to even -86°C.

The ultra-low freezer is located in the "PRODUCTS" tab, in the category of thermostatic equipment, under the name ultra-low freezers. A wide range of POL-EKO products offers ultra-low freezer with the possibility of setting the temperature even up to -86°C.
