Standard equipment for selected series:
The automatic defrost function is standard on the KK series, ST/ILW with FOT and FIT function, and for monoblock units: ST/CHL 500, ST/CHL 700, ST/CHL 1200, ST/CHL 1450, ensuring precision and convenience in use.
Optional equipment for other series:
For ST/CHL/ILW units, the automatic defrost function is available as an option. This is a flexible solution that allows the unit configuration to be customized to individual needs.
Order number: *PLUS

In order to use this option, we recommend that you select the order number *PLUS, which guarantees the delivery of a unit with the automatic defrost function appropriate to the model ordered (replace * with the model of the unit). This option is only available at the time of ordering for new appliances.
Progress of automatic defrosting:
The automatic defrost function is carried out while the appliance is running. The technology used causes only a slight rise in temperature in the chamber, maintaining precise storage conditions.
Default parameters and customization:
The default settings include defrosting every 2 hours lasting 2 minutes, which causes only a temporary temperature rise of approximately 3°C. The user can adjust the defrost parameters according to the application, type of load (wet/dry), frequency of door opening, etc.
